This week is Samoan Language Week. On Monday, the Samoan students from May Road School showed off some off their culture.
We went down to the hall to experience a Taste of Samoa. We got to try different foods and drinks from Samoa. We also got to look at the Jewellery and items that were handmade from coconut. There were students from Room 12 explaining to us how to husk a coconut, and how to shave taro and how to make a cup of koko Samoa.
Welcome to my blog! I am a Year 5 student at May Road School, Auckland, NZ. I am in a digital classroom and my teacher is Mrs Moore. My blog is where I get to share my learning. My posts are a reflection of my learning journey and where I am at. Our class has a blog and you can visit it by clicking here.
